Epoxy

 

Epoxy coatings are usually applied to strengthen and protect timber and are generally clear in colour.

 

We use a variety of epoxy coatings on hulls, decks and foils. This is ideally done on new timber prior to painting and varnishing. It can, however, be applied later in a boat's life, providing any existing paint and varnish can be removed satisfactorily.
